Competition: Where’s Santa?!

By Friday, October 9, 2015 413 1

The build up to Christmas has started. There’s no escaping from it. It’s October, the shops are stocking stockings and decorations. This means good ol’ Saint Nick is going to have to get back to work pretty soon. Our question is… What has he been doing for the last year? Has he gone somewhere tropical this whole time? Is he backpacking through Europe? Maybe he stopped over at Disneyland, the possibilities are endless.

That’s why we’re going to leave it to you to figure out where he might have been. Type in the comments section below where your answer to the question ‘Where has Santa been spending his time all year’ and the most creative, funny or obscure answer could win you one of our beautiful 7ft 2in Warm White Blossom Trees.

The competition will close at midnight on Sunday 18/10/2015 and we will announce our favourite answer and the winner the following day. We will also be awarding a 10% discount to the top ten answers to be used on their next order with us.

Gardens and Homes Direct reserves the right to remove any answers deemed inappropriate or offensive. Entrants must reside within the UK.

I think he’s been in Hawaii. He already likes bright clothes so a Hawaiian shirt will really suit him and he’s love a garland to go with it.

He has to get those rosy cheeks from somewhere and I bet it’s the lovely sunshine that’s given him his glow.

I think Santa left a list of things to be done in this tech world we live in I recon he left instructions to make suren he has to top of the range satnav and all lap tops are running the best programs and he has his good and bad list so he can keep an eye on them. I think he has taken himself and wife to the most romantic place in the world.I think he’s great every year I get the present that I want and I have been doing since my children were born and thats 40 odd years, So enjoy whats left of your break, Ill leave your hot choc with marshmallows where I normally do and some christmas bics for the reindeer all my love Janet (mother grandmother and great grandma)

Santa is actually my dad x
We live in Brodlington which is a seaside town and he’s spent the last 10 months relaxing by the sea, shopping in Tesco and doing the normal day to day chores, waking the reindeers on the seafront (like ya do!!!!) However, it’s now got to his busy time of year-he’s been advertising for staff (Elves and the likes) to help him out of the season and get the prezzies ready to deliver to all those worthy children all around the world x He looks forward to his rest each year after all that Global travel-it’s very tiring!!

I think Santa has been having a very relaxing time in Scotland its not as cold as the North Pole and his Raindeers went with him too so it was fine for them to have a relaxing holiday

We know the answer to this one as Santa has been at our house in Denny, Stirlingshire getting pampered of all my children! We have gave him the best holiday he has ever had. It was funny seeing him out of his Santa suit and in a pair of trunks. He never took that smile of his face.

I think Santa is spending his Holiday in the Largest Toy Shop in New York so he can understand the Christmas letters. Gone are the days of Trains Sets and Baby Dolls.

Father Christmas is more than likely in the Basque region of Spain. Peter the woodcutter brings their presents so he probably can have his holiday with a good amount of aninimity. Much sort after by someone with such a recognisable face and physique.
