The excitement build up for the upcoming ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ is reaching it’s peak! A new, long trailer for the film was released earlier this week and it’s pretty amazing… So we’ve decided to let the hype take over and host a competition for one of our brand new Star Wars Gifts!
For a chance to win our Tie Fighter Galaxy Battle Light, type in the comments section below, your favourite Star Wars character and why. After the competition closes, we will go through each answer and pick our favourite. This could be based on how interesting, obscure or justified the answer is, we really don’t know. What we’re looking for is pure honesty! Haven’t seen any of the Star Wars films? Go and watch them so you can pick a favourite character!
The competition will close at midnight on Sunday 01/11/2015 and we will announce our favourite answer and the winner within the following few days. We will also be awarding a 10% discount to the top ten answers to be used on their next order with us.

Ah – the impossible question rears its head again! I love Chewbacca, as he’s just such a big, cuddly hunk of Wookie and, as a bonus, you’re never going to get burgled if he lives in your house. But little Wicket is such a cutie – he tries so hard to be a fierce Ewok warrior but really, you just want to pick hi up and give him a big hug!
On a deeper level, I like the complexity of Darth’s character. It’s easy to see why he turned to the Dark Side – when you consider that he overcame being born into slavery, then had to find the courage to defy the teachings of the Jedi Council and secretly marry his true love, only to later believe he was responsible for the death of his wife and unborn children, then you begin to understand why he becamse a Sith. . That’s enough of a life to confuse and twist anyone’s mind.,
My facourite of all though, is a different character, He’s cute and cuddly but sadly forgotten and vastly underrated. Most people don’t even know who he is and so I give my Favourite Character award to Logray, the head Shaman of the Ewoks.
In his youth, he was a fine warrior and decorated his staff with the hard-won bones of a defeated enemy so there coukld be no doubt as to his ferocity and skill. But it was as an Elder that Logray really shone, He helped run the Ewok village and his knowledge of magic – gained when he was enslaved by Morag the Tulgah witch – got the Ewoks out of many a scrape – the most memorable one being when he shrunk Wicket and Teebo in order to enable them to rescue their kidnapped friends,
Mission accomplished, he provided the with his magical growing powder to return and live happily ever after in Bright Tree Village. The Ewoks owe their fur to Logray many times over but sadly, after the Battle of Endor. he was ejected from the village for his increasing use of the Dark Arts and he vanished into oblivion.
His name was never spoken again.
